Who We Are

Sing Ireland supports and promotes all forms of group singing in Ireland. Through programmes, training, and advocacy, we respond to the needs of our members, the wider choral community, and the public.

What We Do

Founded in 1980 as Cumann Náisiúnta na gCór (Association of Irish Choirs), Sing Ireland has developed initiatives such as the Irish Youth Choir, training for conductors and teachers, choral workshops, and national campaigns highlighting the social and wellbeing benefits of group singing.

Based at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, Sing Ireland continues to deliver its core programmes, including the Irish Youth Choir, the International Choral Conducting Summer School, and school-based singing projects, while expanding new initiatives that enhance life through choral music.
