Sing Ireland is excited to announce the return of National Singing Week, taking place from 10 - 16 February 2025.

National Singing Week has always been a time to celebrate the myriad benefits of group singing, from fostering community spirit to enhancing personal well-being.  This week-long celebration shines a spotlight on the joy and numerous benefits of group singing, inviting people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to come together and experience the transformative power of singing. 

Every Voice Counts is Sing Ireland’s call to action for an Ireland where every voice is heard, valued, and uplifted. Sing Ireland is calling on choirs and singing groups, whether in  schools, at work, or in local communities, to open their doors and invite every voice to join in. 

With over 229,000 people already participating in group singing across Ireland, National Singing Week is a chance to inspire even more to embrace singing as a path to connection, wellbeing, and fun.

If you are in a choir or singing group - singing choral classics with your workplace choir or popular hits with your local acapella group or school - join us for National Singing Week 2025 to celebrate the joy and benefits of group singing in your local area

Groups are encouraged to register their events with Sing Ireland  to be featured on the official programme of events. It could be an open rehearsal, open air performance, concert, live-streamed event, a performance streamed online, or an online sing-along open and welcome to all!

SING SYNC, A Choir for Everyone, invites the people of Carlow and its surrounding areas to join a ‘from scratch’ choir and work with a host of talented professional singers, musicians, and music professionals from the region. SING SYNC meets at VISUAL on Mondays, 7.30pm – 9pm and is led by conductor Mary Amond O’Brien.
