    St Jude’s Choir is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Choir Director to lead our adult community choir from September 2026.

    We are currently re-establishing our friendly community choir, which is associated with St Jude’s GAA Club. The choir has been on a break since our previous Choir Director moved abroad, and we are now looking for the right person to help us get up and running again.

    The role includes:

    Leading weekly rehearsals, preferably on a Tuesday or Wednesday from 7:30pm–9:00pm, in St Jude’s GAA Club (rehearsal room already secured)
    Directing the choir for our Christmas Carol Service and occasional community events, such as Darkness Into Light
    Choosing and preparing suitable music and helping the choir develop musically

    We are looking for someone with relevant musical qualifications and experience conducting an adult choir. Good communication skills and an enthusiastic, encouraging approach are important.
