Audition now for Ireland’s national choir for singers aged 14-17 years!

The Irish Youth Choir for 14-17 years, (formerly the Irish Youth Training Choir) provides a wonderful opportunity for young singers to become members of a performance ensemble at national level. 

The Irish Youth Choir and conductor Patrick Barrett look forward to welcoming you to their annual residential course which takes place from 22 to 27 June 2025. 

  • Intensive, residential summer choral course, at the end of June each year with concerts in Limerick and Dublin.  
  • Working with Conductor Patrick Barrett and a team of top vocal tutors
  • Opportunities to sing with young people from all over Ireland

Irish Youth Training Choir is a really special place. You meet people from all across the country who are equally passionate and talented at singing as you are. It's an opportunity to make particularly high-quality music making whilst also opening your eyes to new genres of repertoire that you will love.
