Recruitment Phase 2 2024/25. Coole Harmonies choir are a community based choir for young people, ages 9-19years, based in Gort, Co. Galway. We are now entering Phase 2 of our recruitment process - if you know of young singers aged between 13-17 years we want to hear from them. Coole Harmonies meet on Weds 6-7pm at Gort Community School. Their repertoire is very varied and quite different to perhaps most school choirs. So if you would like to learn pieces such as The Earl of Salisbury carol by William Byrd, a Finnish Folk song, Who can Sail arr by Carl-Bertil Agnestig (yes, translated into english!), The Silver Swan by Gibbons, or La Lluvia by Stephen Hadfield then we want to hear from you.
