IYC Pathways to Professional Singing 2022

With Chamber Choir Ireland

The Irish Youth Choir has joined forces with Chamber Choir Ireland to provide training and professional development for IYC Members considering a professional career in singing.

Applications are now open for a 3 day intensive programme with members of Chamber Choir Ireland, many of whom are previous participants in the Irish Youth Choirs. Over the course of the programme singers will get the opportunity to develop their understanding of all aspects of a career in professional choral singing - from how best to approach applications and auditions, to how to work and collaborate with composers.

Areas to be covered include:

  • Workshops with conductors connected to Chamber Choir Ireland
  • Coaching by members of Chamber Choir Ireland
  • Individual singing lessons
  • CV presentation and Audition Preparation

Schedule:
15 June 2022: 10am - 4pm

16 June 2022: 10am-4pm

17 June 2022: 10m - 3pm
