    Details: Roscommon Solstice Choir has teamed up with local playwright and historian Tommy Murray to present a show that gives a dramatic insight into important moments in Irish History, illustrated with ballads, songs, poetry and music.

    The show begins with the Rebellion of 1798 and concludes with the War of Independence in 1920/21. Featuring many of the great ballads, speeches and music of the time, it promises to be an emotional roller-coaster, highlighting the unquenchable spirit that rose Phoenix-like from the ashes of successive conflicts in Ireland's long struggle for independence.
