Insieme (Italian for Together) is a mixed acapella choir which sings music from the classical repertoire together with lively songs from the popular songbook. Examples are Abendlied (by Rheinberger) and The Wellerman (arr. Zimmerman). We strive for expression and engagement with our audiences so we do not use either accompaniment or scores for performance. We also strive to enjoy every rehearsal and each other’s company.
At full complement we are twenty strong, and rehearse every second Thursday in Donnybrook. We are looking for additional Sopranos, Tenors, Altos and Basses to join us. There is an audition during August 2024. Some of the songs on which we will focus this year are:

• Happy Together
• Cent Mille Chansons
